RYA Cruising Instructor Course

 The Cruising Instructor is required by those wanting to instruct RYA courses up to Day Skipper practical level.
You will need a RYA/ DOT Yachtmaster Offshore Certificate Commercially Endorsed and a current medical certificate.
Instructor training course is based on one or two weeks assessment, the course will take you through demonstration skills, how to brief your crew and debrief them on all aspects.
Different methods of training the students and the importance of safety on board the yacht, the planning of a week’s course and duty and care for your students.
The assessment of the course will be during the week with a fully trained Yachtmaster skipper.
