RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Sailing Courses
 We usually run this course as part of our fastrack intensive courses, but not exclusively so, see next paragraph.
The Yachtmaster Ocean qualification is usually achieved in two parts. A theoretical course lasting about 6 days and an exam. This needs to be followed by making a non-stop 600NM passage and at least 400 NM of this must be out of sight of land. Generally taken as land being more than 50NM away. We can arrange both the theoretical course and set up a long ocean passage, perhaps to the Azores or Madeira.
